Batman´s Robin in drag? Andy Hope 1930 opens first solo show in Spain

"Robin Dostoevsky" by Andy Hope 1930 opened 8 April in Malaga
 

Berlin-based German artist Andy Hope 1930 (also his own creation) opened his first solo show in Spain on 8 April at Malaga´s CAC (Contemporary Art Centre of Malaga).

The show continues through 19 June in CAC´s Espacio 2.

“Robin Dostoevsky by Andy Hope 1930,” an exhibit of eight large-format format fusion pictures, comic book themes of side-kick and all-around good guy Robin and 19th Century Russian novelist, Fydor Dostoevsky.

Hope 1930 debuts these images in this exhibit.

The mixed media artist, who fields his 30th solo show since 1996, studied at the Munich Fine Arts Academy and Chelsea College of Art & Design, London.

The Hauser & Wirth Gallery in London represents him.
